The best part of any stay for me is cleanliness. This unit was very clean. The kitchen was nice with plenty of dishes and a dishwasher. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean. We loved the noise canceling sleep machines provided in the room. There was muffled noise from the city streets, but this is DC and cities have noise. The room darkening shade were helpful as there are many full view windows. I am very sensitive to light when sleeping and had no problem when the shades where down. I would stay here again. There is not a coffee shop on the street, but we were provided a coffee maker and plenty of coffee with cream and several sugar types to choose from. A whole foods is near by, I do not think it was walking distance, but maybe if you are fit. The complex had a secure front door with a code entry and we felt safe.

The unit was clean, well furnished, and comfortable. It was within 2 blocks of 2 bus lines, and 6-7 blocks from the metro. Along 8th St, starting 2-3 blocks away are many restaurants. There is a small grocery store on 8th St and a Trader Joe’s across the street from the metro. The kitchen was well-equipped w cookwear. The washer/dryer was great since we traveled to NYC prior to going to DC. There was a supply cabinet in the lobby with extra toilet paper and other supplies, which we didn’t need, but would have been convenient had we needed them, instead of waiting for the Sonder staff to deliver them. The bed was comfortable.

The check in & check out was very easy and smooth. Needed an early check in and they made sure to keep me updated once it was approved. The apartment is spacious and looks even better than the pictures. Each room had its own bathroom with all the toiletries you get in a traditional hotel. The bed was king size and really comfortable (had a wonderful sleep). white noise machine was also provided but didn’t hear city noise so didn’t need it. It’s a wonderful location that has lots of wonderful restaurants within walking distance (10-15 minutes). I didn’t want to leave.

We were pleasantly surprised by the amenities ie dish soap, laundry soap, scrubber, cleaner, toiletries. The space is smaller than I imagined but we made it work. We weee nervous about the no parking but we were able to park close by the building. There is a community garden and playground next door. You really feel like you are part of a community staying here. Its a fifteen minute walk to the metro and two bus stops at right out the door.

The facility was new and it was what wanted to stay together with our family, the 2bhk apartment style. New upgraded bathroom and kitchen. Appliances were clean and there was enough stock of necessary supplies. Overall very happy with the facility. Easy access to great restaurants nearby and also very near to major tourist attractions. Will definitely recommend to friends.
